Homemade Chickpea Crackers Recipe
These crispy chickpea crackers are a healthier alternative to store-bought snacks, and they’re packed with flavor! Here’s how to make them:
Ingredients:
180g cooked chickpeas (canned is fine)
1 egg
1 tbsp olive oil
Spices: salt, pepper, paprika, cumin
Instructions:
Drain and rinse the chickpeas, then dry them thoroughly.
Place the chickpeas, egg, olive oil, and spices in a blender or food processor. Blend until you get a smooth paste.
Transfer the paste to a piping bag or a ziplock bag with a corner cut off. If you don’t have these, just use a spoon to form small mounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Shape the crackers as desired and, if you’d like, sprinkle with sesame seeds or grated Parmesan for extra flavor.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 25-30 minutes, keeping an eye on the edges to prevent over-browning.
Let the crackers cool completely before serving.
These are perfect as a snack, paired with dips, or even as a crunchy topping for salads. Let me know if you give this recipe a try—I’d love to hear how they turn out!
